And so far so good, as regards this free text messaging site. eSeMeS.co.uk offers free, fast sms, and all you have to do is enter the number you want to send free sms to, type your message (up to 600 characters - impressive), and agree to the terms and conditions! (And type one of those anti-spam capcha words!)

And when you click Send SMS, your message arrives almost immediately. Very impressive.

Another plus is that you can send free sms without registering your details. Actually, the site lets you send free sms text messages worldwide, also (not reviewed here), but you do have to register for this worldwide free sms service.

It seems to let you send unlimited free sms, too, which is also impressive. Not sure how long they'll be able to offer such a great free sms service, so I recommend you use now!

NOTE: all sent messages have www.esemes.co.uk tagged onto the end of them, and they're sent from this mobile no. (07944408306), so you might want to sign your texts so people know who's sent them. (This also means that people can't reply to your free sms.)

Lastly, there is so far no way that you can KNOW whether the recipient has received your free sms message (there is no delivery confirmation).
