Free UK messages using GotNoCredit

Fast, easy-to-use and you can RECEIVE messages too!

GotNoCredit allows you to send unlimited free text messages (up to 133 characters) to any UK mobile. There is no registration, which is great, your sms texts are sent quickly and easily using their easy-ish to use site (the site feels very 'pale' (and 'dropped out') to me, like there's a pop-up window you have to do something with first).

Probably the best part of Gotnocredit's free sms service is the fact that it allows you to receive replies directly online. This is something you usually only get with registration required services. So this means that your contact can reply to sent messages and using their 'Quick Reply' feature you can hold a conversation very easily. (Though when I replied to my test message it hadn't been received in the first 15 minutes.)

You can also create nicknames for each number so you don’t have to remember them all. (Another great feature for a registration-free service!)

Note: you do need to enter your name in your text as the sms will be coming from a number that they will not recognise at first (gotnocredit's UK mobile no.). And you also need to enter a security code, as well as your message, to prevent the system being abused by automated systems (or bots).

I am impressed with Gotnocredit. And owner Johnathon Hunter tells me that he is committed to making the service better and better! He also tells me that it's usual to receive replies in less than 2 minutes. (Give it a try for yourself and see how you get on.)
