Sheriff Ratings is a directory review service that lets you earn free sms per your reviews. The main aim of the site is not free sms, but providing useful feedback to sites and online services. Sheriff Ratings, online since 2005 (I think) simply reward its members with free sms (rather than with points or pounds). This is perfect for free sms-ers.

So, currently you get 15 free sms for registering and 15 free sms for uploading a photograph of yourself. The text message I sent arrived almost immediately, which is pretty much a requirement of sms text messages however they are sent I feel. You now get 15 free sms for recommending a friend (who then registers) and 3 free sms for rating your friend! :-)

The one bad thiing about this free texting site is that you can only send 10 free sms per day. Oh and you have to fill in a detailed registration form. Still, having said all that, Sheriff Ratings Free SMS comes highly recommended...

Pros: Free SMS site, fast reliable sms, up to 30 free sms on registration. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Cons: Have to earn free sms by writing product or website reviews (easy to earn though), can only send 10 free sms per day however many free sms credits you have previously earned; detailed registration required
