Send free text messages to UK mobile phones using SMSCity

SMSCity international is an international service that works in UK.

This service - my favourite UK free sms site - lets you send fast free sms text messages to UK mobile phones, but you do have to register. Interface is neat and easy to use, and you can create an address book to make sending texts to your friends easy.

How many free sms can you send? Well, it's a little bit complicated. Basically you need sms credits to send free sms, and you get 20 free credits just for registering. But you also need sms points also to send free text messages, and these are renewed on a daily basis. So, initially, you're looking at 1 free sms per day, but this can be increased.

You can pay (cheap rates) to earn more sms credits, or you can earn sms credits by referring other users. And there are other ways to earn sms credits too.

You get the option to send sms with (completely free) or without ads (costs 2 credits, but you do get 20 free credits on registering).

Registration requires that you provide your mobile phone no., which is then sent a confirmation code to verify you own the phone.

NOTES:
1) SMSCITY is NOT a subscription service.

Pros: Fast free sms, reliable service; delivery confirmed; can send free sms without ads; can earn more free sms credits; my favourite UK free sms service

Cons: Bit complicated in terms of how many free sms you can send each day; replies will automatically be sent to your mobile
